Too much pressure was applied in one area. Other than that it was fine.

The cost of my membership increased and it wasn’t mentioned to me in any form of communication. One day I looked at my bank account and thought there was a mistake and when I called the receptionist and she was not helpful and could care less even though Hand and stones terms and conditions state that any changes or modifications with pricing would come with a reasonable notice. If I didn’t love my esthetician I would of cancelled my membership due to lack of communication. I also talked to friends and coworkers about this who also weren’t notified and just as frustrated

My massage did not last the full 60 minutes. It was more like 45, which was disappointing considering I paid for it.

It took a while for me to check in. There was a line of people checking out in front of me. My appointment also started about 10 minutes late, and it finished 5 minutes early. It’s supposed to be a 1 hour service. My esthetician was someone I never had before. The girl I used to see left. I did think the new girl was very friendly and I felt very comfortable. I was just not happy with the amount of time I got for what I spent.

Front desk reception was standoffish and unorganized. Did not allow me to explain what I had spoken to about someone else there over the phone and then abruptly passed me off to another receptionist who was unwelcoming.assage room music was too fast ocean waves and there were people outside my door towards the very end, talking loudly and laughing. After I came out I saw 3 or 4 workers (two from reception before) standing in the hallway, drinking water. They were the ones making all the noise.

I have been to many Day Spas for a massage. Some. of the questions in your intake form made me feel uncomfortable. I have never had to sign a disclaimer about being touched inappropriately or the use of a "panic button" at any other Spa. This did not make me feel more at ease, it actually put uncomfortable thoughts in my head.My therapist did a great job, but I will not be returning.

I have left shoulder pain. The position I was in seemed to make it a little more uncomfortable

I had a new estetician this time and her technique was different than what I was used to . I also felt that the hot towels were too hot and I had to ask her to change the temperature of them .

When I originally called to book, the woman who answered was dismissive, lied about racial length and never actually booked the appointment. I called the following day to ask why the facial wasn’t an hour and I got someone else on the phone who was INCREDIBLY nice and helpful.
