Hand and Stone

I specifically came in for my neck tension on the left side and stiffness in both shoulders. I asked her to focus on that. She did work on them but also spent time on my legs, arms, hands, etc. I would be ok if my specific areas were resolved.

Seemed to go by too fast. Shoulders should be included in massage. No garbage can in waiting room.

The experience was good. There was no wow factor, which would have made it highly satisfying.

A bit pricey.

Awkward check in with no reception and limited female rmt at night options

I booked a service to try hand and stone: intro facial. The cost was the deciding factor for me to book this appt and I feel like the estheticians are trained to upsell to as many expensive services as possible. I felt stupid for not agreeing to one of the products, but ended up costing me double what I had agreed to upon booking the appt. I feel like the advertising was not very good and the appt was changed from being relaxing and nice to stressful about how much this introductory service was going to cost, as the esthetician made it clear i would not see any results without her expensive add on treatment.

All in all H&S was a good experience. I have made that location my go to and I have found the massage therapists to be very good and solicitous. The desk staff are also courteous. However, I have been fortunate enough to go to some five star spas and consequently rate on the basis and standard set by those places.

There is always room for improvement. Never give 100% or highly satisfied results. Should always strive for improvement. Could not fault the premises, staff or massage, other than being a few minutes late beginning.

I would like the massage to be 60min as is typical for most other massage providers. Hand and stone massages are only 50min.

Don’t like to always be upsold esp when results are about the same
