Hand and Stone

I wish the intake form and prenatal form were online to limit contact points given the pandemic. This is what all my other providers (doctor's appointments, physiotherapist, etc.) are doing.

Satisfied is perfectly good and is what I expect. When something is unusually excellent I would rate highest. My therapist is very good - friendly, skilled and professional. Desk staff were very attentive and friendly. No complaints. You do ask some questions that require some assumptions so those I answered neutrally.

Room was a bit chilly, linens felt rough, and the music system wasn’t working so I could hear all conversation around us. The massage itself was great.

I asked for a light massage but I actually have bruises on my back today. It was painful. I would go back, just not to that massage therapist.

I could see the cover for the head stand of the massage table was dirty, probably with mascara. Maybe it was washed but had a sting on it, but specially because of Covid times, it doesn’t cause a good impression. I would be less concerned lying my face on a very clean cover.

I was not highly satisfied because my appt. was supposed to be at 3:45, I waited until 4PM to get into the massage room and at 4:40 massage was done even though it was supposed to be a 50 min. massage.

The clinic can be quite nosy - thin walls, can hear receptionist talking, can hear laundry machines, sometimes outside traffic.

I didn't say highly satisfied as it was my first time and while good I think I will need subsequent visits to fully relive the tension in my muscles.

The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how the receptionist tried to upsell me on a membership and his tone when I declined.

I was highly satisfied with my first facial experience at Hand and stone. Ami was lovely and did a great job. I was not aware of the many up charges for some services, I understand them but I did not love that part. I thought the facial was tailored to the client's needs and what ever was needed was included in the prize. Ami was great asking me in advance I just wish those services/adds on that I chose to add on were included in the facial prize that is all. Thank you.
