My therapist is incredible. I was 10 minutes late due to an emergency at work and reception called to confirm, and held my shortened appointment for me (I was grateful for the remaining time because it was my fault for being late). I always feel welcome, and both reception and the therapists help me use up credits with add-ons to enhance my experience.

therapist was the best I have had at hand and stone. It is always a bit challenging getting an opponent at this H&S but very happy to have made my next appointment at the time of exit.

I enjoyed my facial, it’s very difficult trying to make an appointment when there is not enough staff. And the cost is very high.

Kat and Dawn are very talented therapists. They are hard to come by in this industry. I know most companies are trying to push off paying employees better by asking the consumer for gratuities. I always believe in the 20% rule for excellant service, should you be paying them more instead of suggesting the consumer cover your shortfall? Where does the math come from: $26 is not 20% for an $80 service, which IS full retail value. You are not a high end facility, you are in mall settings, there are no amenties to suggest a 50 min massage = more than $130. I worked for Spas for 20 years, I question the intergrity of H&S with these numbers. It is not my job to hold on to good people, it is yours. When all of the weekends are booked due to staff shortage, that could cause members to cancel. I think it wise to invest in your staff. Is the money going into the business or into CEO's pockets. Are the franchise costs reasonable?

Although my appointment was originally cancelled, the front desk was able to get me quickly rebooked as my therapist extended her day the following week to get me in. I've been going to my therapist for 5 years. I followed her to Hand & Stone and she's incredible. I also enjoy Hand & Stone more than where I previously received my massages.
