Was disappointed during the massage - the therapist massages my feet and immediately went to massage other parts instead of washing his hands first.

The massage itself was every bit as exceptional as it has been consistently in the past. However, the manager, Ruthie Merritt, came out to shush me saying I was being too loud although I didn't think I was yelling. I wear hearing aids and perhaps I was louder than she thought I should be. I was frustrated since I was having difficulty getting across what I needed to have happen from a BUSINESS perspective. We spend 6 months in Texas & 6 months in Iowa. The "freeze" cost was to be taken out on the 1st of the month, didn't happen. I wanted my monthly "date" to begin on the 1st so I can get my massage anytime during the month. That hasn't happened either. Bottom line, I'm not certain I'll continue my relationship with Hand & Stone even though I really like Chris, my massage therapist.

There was a new receptionist at desk that did not know what she was doing. Polite, though . The Therapist massages feet then went to my neck/head area. I prefer during massage,when his hands massage feet first, to not massage neck/head area afterwards.

My massage therapist that I had for my last appt did not massage hands or feet. After the massage they felt heavy compared to rest of body.

The only receptionist that wows me is the young girl with long hair! She is the only one who calls me by name when I walk through the door-She makes me feel important. I continue only because Nuvia is fantastic. Nuvia is so knowledgeable and explains everything in detail. She is an asset to your company.

New to the area

I am an athlete who is accustomed to deep body tissue work. I recently moved to this area. I am looking for someone who can help complement my training, but have been unable to find a therapist who meets my specific needs. I will try again!

During the checkout process, the receptionist stated 2 to 3 times that I was “behind in payments” in front of other clients. I had several prepaid available packages. It was extremely embarrassing.

Too many fragrances such as plug in air fresheners...used in the facility. For some suffering with asthma, ZCOPD, and allergies these aur fresheners are problematic. They are problematic for me.

I was highly satisfied with my experience at Hand and Stone. The question asked if I would visit that location again in the next 90 days. Since the location is not as close to where I live, I may have to find a different Hand & Stone location in a more convenient place for me.
