I tried the hand treatment. Not my personal favorite upgrade. I prefer the hot stone. Massage was excellent.

I booked an 80 minute massage and it didn’t flow quite the same way. I didn’t relax as much as I normally do but I still felt great after it! Wis absolutely wonderful and I already have an appt to see her again.

There are a few things that could use improvement. The lights are kept too bright during the massage (on back). There should be more inexpensive products available or at least similar priced to those available elsewhere in the retail sector. There should also be a more Zen-like feel to the lobby. It's often bright, loud and chaotic. Having a quiet place to unwind prior to a massage or after is important to allow a nice even transition from one chaotic world to a more calm one and back again. The importance of soft voices and limited laughter should be respected. I always use a breast pillow when I come in. The one available is horrible, hard, stiff and leaves me hurting. Invest in a better one or I'll just stay home and have someone else come to me. I have a new massage table with a breast recess. This is the ultimate in comfort, maybe they could consider it.

I told the therapist I like my face massaged. He however did not touch it. I also asked for more pressure with the "add-on" peppermint scalp massage. He didn't do that either. I also was annoyed that the sign about sharing your massage with those in need this month / waiving the $10 transfer fee was not extended to me. I made the appointment for my boyfriend who is in wheelchair on Saturday, October 27th. The receptionist said the massage has to be GIVEN during the month of October. His appointment is Sunday, November 4th. I therefore must pay the transfer fee. I find this unfair since I made the appointment in the promotional month.

I had asked for firm pressure and the massage therapist was definitely firm but I am more sore than I have ever been post massage. I don’t think the therapist did anything wrong but that it’s more a difference from therapist to therapist as to what firm means to them. I have asked for firm in the past with other therapists and it felt more like medium. Other than that, the massage was as expected.

I was very satisfied

The massage therapist was wonderful, no problems during the massage at all. I booked an appointment online due to an incentive offered in an email. I called to confirm appointment because I received no phone call as promised in second email. My appointment was not saved, the location was completely booked on my day of choice, and I was told I could no longer use the incentive because it was valid for one day only.

Check in was great, receptionist was very friendly. Check out wasn't horrible, but I was mischarged initially. I was offered free aroma therapy for my birthday at check in, but was then charged for it at check out. I also was paying for the transfer fee for my husband, which is usually a 10.00 fee. For some reason, the charge came up as 10.05. When I asked why, the receptionist didn't know. I didn't mind the additional 5 cent charge as much as I minded the receptionist's attitude. She became very abrupt, like the overcharge was my fault. My massage was great, and I rebooked for the following week. I don't really care about the receptionist's attitude, but that is why I rated 4 stars and not 5.

I am one who always gives room for improvement. I was very pleased with the results of my massage. I will be coming back for more experiences!
