Hand and Stone

This was my first time getting a massage. The entire staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. They helped me feel at ease and let me know what to expect. The massage therapist did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable, addressing the sore spots I outlined beforehand, and checking in to make sure the pressure was acceptable. I felt very relaxed and definitely would like to return soon.

Jay is an excellent therapist who is educated and knows the anatomy and is helpful in so many ways. I’m glad he is my therapist and helps relieve my pains

After my facial, I went to use my gift card, which I received for Christmas ( one week ago). I was told that the gift card had to be used at the same location in which it was purchased. I asked the receptionist which Hand & Stone this was considered. She said, “Upper Providence-Royersford”. I said, “But that is what the gift card says on the back, Upper Providence-Royersford”. “ Oh”, she said. She then asked, “ Have you used this gift card before?” I replied, “ No, I was just given it for Christmas.” I was told that I would have to leave a credit card on file for the cost of the facial, just in case the gift card did not work once she spoke to a manager. Luckily, I had another gift card for $75 from last year that I never used. The whole experience of paying for the facial with the gift card was a nightmare. I still have not received a phone call from the manager to let me know the status of my 50 min facial gift card. I was told that a manager would call me.

I have frequented a few massage places and this was the best. Michael offered several massage option, he didn't try to upsell on my first visit. I loved the hot towels.

The staff is friendly. Thomas is excellent. He makes sure to know what areas are important. The facility is not as clean as it could be. I see dust on some of the trim especially in the ladies room. It has been difficult to get appointments and I have 12+ credits to use. I don't feel it is right that I have to pay $10.oo per month if I freeze my membership so that I can use these up. At some point I may so that I can use them up and then cancel the membership.

Kelly was able to relieve some of the pain in my neck. The way she massaged the area was the first time I felt any pain relief. I already made another appointment with her.

Katie was absolutely amazing, she made me feel comfortable, was sure to target the areas I expressed as concerns, always asked throughout the massage how it was.

The massage therapist was fantastic. She was knowledgeable. She was very friendly.
