Mindy is extremely friendly but is nowhere near as talented as other massage therapist I have been to at hand and Stone

While waiting in the lobby, there was a strong sent that smelled pretty odd for a massage place. It must been someone’s lunch who worked there. Also, when I try a new therapist, I never know there style and it could be nice to know their techniques in advance. Other than that, I usually have a great experience.

I’ve had mixed results, depending on the therapist. Also, the closest location is to my work, so it’s not convenient to book a massage during the weekend.

My esthetician was WONDERFUL -- no problem at all there. The problem for me, and the reason I don't come to H&S often is that it is like a gigantic sales pitch. Pushing additional services throughout the facial is stressful & keeps me from relaxing. I'm on a budget, and it's a treat to be able to come and just get the facial, which isn't cheap. Pushing lots of expensive add-ons throughout, having to say no, feeling a bit embarrassed about that...it really makes me enjoy the experience less. That's why I prefer other spas that don't do that. But again, I'm sure that that's just the standard pitch, not the choice of my esthetician herself.

I had a great experience but My husband did not. He is very muscular and in good shape. He asked for firm pressure and the therapist was not able to provide that. While she was nice she was not the right therapist for him. I did not hear her ask if he needed more pressure. He said it was so light it was not worth the time or money spent.

My appointment began more than 10 minutes late and no one acknowledged that or told me the therapist was running behind.

I've had hundreds of massges! ha. You experience lil things that make them so much better. For instance a lil cloth over your eyes when you roll on your back to keep your eyes from fluttering, one lady i had even put one lil drop of scented oil on the eye cloth. Lil things like that dont cost you much and make big differences to the client! I also wish you offered the traditional 60 / 90 minutes hands on time. 50 is just not enough so i've been springing for the 80. Gets a lil pricey trying to come in every few weeks. Thanks!

My massage therapist was very kind and friendly, but she spoke FAR too much during my session. I had a hard time relaxing due to the fact that she kept talking. It would have been one thing had she been talking about the massage, but she started addressing other things that had nothing to do with the massage. I didn't have the heart to tell her to be quiet. She also did not apply nearly enough pressure, even after I told her to apply more pressure twice.

I regret using my additional credit to add aroma therapy to my massage. $10 is sort of an absurd amount of money to charge to put a drop of oil on a paper towel. Especially since there is such a limited selection of scents. It makes me feel like I'm getting nickel and dimed.
