Hand and Stone

When I booked my appointment, I could only do an hour. However, when booked they booked for 2 hours (this was the case on the day I booked the appt. Upon arriving they said I was booked for 2 hours. When stated that I could only do an hour. I was told that I would be charged for the second hour. However, this was the person who booked the appointments error. It was resolved as they were able to book a massage for my second hour.

Good massage but asked for relaxing and got more of a muscle massage I guess? But that's on more for not requesting less pressure so not really an issue. Appreciated the attention to my trigger points and useful stretching tips afterward.

Treatment on my upper back was rougher than I thought. Woke up with soreness.

The massage was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Certainly good value. I would like to see more included. Possibly aromatherapy. Amelia was very friendly and gave a good massage.

Facial massage was not as aggressive as I thought it would be. Got a microderm and it didn’t seem like she sucked out as effectively. Informed me she would massage my shoulders and ended the service and didn’t even inform me I wouldn’t be getting the shoulder massage but when I asked at the end of service why I didn’t get the shoulder massage she said I’ll get plenty of it when I get my massage which followed the facial. Felt mislead.

My facial was a little different as far as the technique than I have experienced at Hand and Stones in the past, but still a great experience.

I didn’t appreciate the fact that my appointment started late, no one acknowledged it, and it didn’t extend my massage time. I showed up twenty minutes early to my appointment and had more than enough time to fill out paperwork and then sit and wait.

I tried the CBD massage and I was expecting a bit more out of the product itself. This has nothing to do with how amazing Bobbi was!!

Still looking for that amazing therapist that will make me want to come back every time. I think it’s fine but may look elsewhere.

I've been a member of this location for a few years. On my visit before the most recent one, my husband was using one of gift cards I purchased over the holidays. At that time, the receptionist informed us that he cannot use them more often than every 60 days. This is very frustrating. As a customer that buys multiple gift cards each year, I was surprised and disappointed in this change. Had I known of the limitations on use, I would not have purchased the gift cards in the first place. I'm considering switching my membership due to this.
