I appreciate the initial conversation about what I am needing at that time and the approach to taking a look as well as recommendations. I also appreciate the option to have them wear a mask while doing the facial.

I’ve been seeing the same massage therapist for almost 2 years. I trust them and they are knowledgeable in how to best support me and my physical health. I appreciate all they do to listen and support me.

I like that Colin has been there and he does an amazing job. Other places seem to have high turn over.

I absolutely love my massage therapist, Rafael. He is very intuitive and always customized my massage to target my problem areas. My facial tech, Ren, is also amazing and extremely knowledgeable and honest. I feel very comfortable with both therapists. My only issues with hand and stone stem from the time of appts (common for them to not start until ten minutes after entry) and the receptionists- who are always kind, but struggle to answer questions or go above and beyond. The last few times I have gone in for an appt, there have been new people training or people who just started working there and I’ve had to wait a while for them to figure out how to check me out etc. I know they need to learn on their own but I was surprised both times that the other, more experiences receptionists didn’t intervine to help in order to speed up the process of me waiting for them to figure it out.

I am very satisfied with the services and convenience of the membership experience. My skin is always improved after a facial, and the staff is willing to offer add-ons that are helpful, but they never push.

The massage therapist was highly attentive and professional. It did not feel rushed at all, he took his time! Scott did a great job with the massage and also actively listened to what I needed help with during the session. I also felt that he made an effort to work on my pain points and I felt he took his time which is great! Scott was super friendly! I will definitely be recommending Scott to my family, friends and peers. Booking the appointment was also a great experience. The receptionist was super nice and when I asked about qualifying for the new member pricing, she and the manager helped make it happen! They were able to book me last minute which I really appreciated the fast booking as I was in a lot of pain. The location is perfect because it offers free parking spaces and it is in a quieter part of downtown Portland. The only downfall is the pricing at Hand/Stone. Although the membership pricing is more doable, I'm just not interested in memberships at the moment. Hopefully there will be more opportunities for offers as I will like to be able to return more often than not. Overall, this was a great experience and I will be returning!

Scott is a miracle worker. Had some sore athletic spots that he managed to better. Amazing!
