Hand and Stone

Michael knew his work and how to address my concerns. He even was concerned that he did not overdo the neck -- but then, I let him know that I was very concerned about that and about going overboard. The pressures were good. but he coud not do anything about my noises for the pains. OF COURSE there was some pain, but not so much that I wanted him to stop. IT bands take work, and I want them loosened up. But there was relief for the pain caused.

Friendly nice people, clean and organized.

I had called about a last minute appointment in poor weather. I was able to get in within 20 minutes of my call, despite them being short-staffed.

The welcoming atmosphere. The ability of the massage therapist,Amy. The relaxing atmosphere.

The whole experience was wonderful, from the moment you walk in to the tile you check out. My massage therapist was amazing and focused on my needs and areas I wanted extra time on !

Amy is the best! I'm always very impressed by her knowledge and ability to work knots out. I feel like I'm more educated about my body since starting massage and really like Hand and Stone's ambiance and cleanliness. My only note would be that music volume is wildly inconsistent, and it's not the controls in the room. It's whoever is determining the master volume elsewhere. Or the song selection. I know it’s not within the room because the volume can change in the middle of the appointment. That can sometimes be distracting but it's never been so loud that it's uncomfortable, though it's occasionally been so quiet I could barely hear it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Will continue my membership.

Laura is the best therapist!

I'm so sad to have to cancel my membership at this time; I would rather say cancel for now. I will return after surgery and once cleared by my physician. I hope Michael is still there when I return, as well as the staff. Everyone at Hand and Stone UP is wonderful!
