Hand and Stone

The massage was late. The waiting area felt crowded with other customers seated around. Other customers coming and going within a few feet of you while you waited. My 1 hr massage was really 45 minutes, felt hurried and some areas received only 1 stroke on my quads for example. I’ll try again on a week day, obviously week end is a bad time to go.

I live out of town, so returning to this location is almost impossible. Just noticed overall interior space of this location to be not that appealing. I try and get a massage each time I'm out of town for business and comparing this to others there needs to be some updates to the facility.

The product used made me feel extremely oily afterward, so much so that I left some behind on the counter when I leaned my arm against it. Overall, the massage is supposed to be an hour, which is 60 minutes and it usually ends up only being about 45-50 minutes. Not to mention Hand and Stone raised the price of their massages. I also don’t like how the receptionist always tries to change my masseuse. I don’t mind change every once and awhile, but I have a preference.

Therapist applied too much pressure. Left me hurting afterwards.. after expressing concerns of too much pressure three times she continued. Massage techniques weren't what youd expect from a massage.. just overall was not a massage I'd like to recieve again.

They said I would have a male tech and I didn’t I made my next appointment on time I was a little concerned because we started late

The aesthitisean made a recommendation for my facial but failed to tell me it was a $20 upcharge. When she recommended teh brightening survey she should have told me there was an upcahrge.

I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time. I expect my appointment to start on time. If not, i expect my appointment to last 1 hour. My appointment time was at 12. My therapist started right at 12:10 and ended my appointment at 1. I expect to get the full 60 minute massage.

I wasn't displeased, but it wasn't the best massage. I wish there was more of a transition room or something else. Masseuse was fine, but nothing special.

I could hear other rooms. Would like it to be more calm and quiet. The lotion smelled like glue. $15 to have a decent smelling lotion is high, other spas just include that. This place feels like I’m being nickeled and dimed- not pampered.
