The receptionists that greeted us when we walked in we’re either not friendly, disinterested, or unknowledgeable. We rung up incorrectly and whomever came over the assist was not friendly or personable at all. I think the receptionist helping us was new and as soon as she began to ring up our gift certificates, the other 3 left the back area. Then she ran into problems and I had to pay for all of the gift cards instead of splitting the cost of 4! The receptionist that checked us out was WONDERFUL! If she had not been, we would NOT be returning to this location!

I think it is that I had to pay $20 to transfer to services from my husband's membership to me. One of the many reasons why I gave up my membership several months

I scheduled my appointment over the phone, so the questions didn't apply and there was no N/A option for those questions. I've also had better massages at other facilities, where I felt totally relaxed and actually felt "refreshed".

The experience was good but not outstanding. I would call it average, what I would expect. I have not complaints, but nothing to rave aboutl

I absolutely love Hand and Stone, and for the most part have had positive experiences. However, this last massage was far from good. She made many mistakes, from forgetting the pillow for my legs, to incorrectly adjusting the head pillow multiple times, to applying too much pressure/using her elbows on my spine/bones, to spending too much time on the wrong side that I said I was experiencing pain with. The best part of the massage was the feet. She did amazing at that. I don't like to complain, but massages aren't cheap, and I value the money I save to be able to have this pampering service. I was highly disappointed with my last massage therapist. Sorry to say.

I believe that I should try other ways to relax my muscles and reduce stress. My muscles always seems to revert back to their same tense/hard condition in between massage appointments.

Everything about the experience is good except price. The add-ons are high. Very high. And add-ons are not allotted additional time! The add-on revenue is gleefully taken; but has to be worked into the time already scheduled (i.e., 50 or 80 min). If I get a cold-stone facial, and I've scheduled an 80 minutes massage, I don't want 15-20 minutes be used on the cold stone facial. I won't be scheduling add-ons any more. Just massages or just facials.

I had to call back several times to schedule an appointment. The first time the receptionist was very rude and so quiet I could not understand her. The next time every time I wanted was booked. My facial was great but I didn’t get a hand/arm massage and usually got one with my other facials. The esthetician explained why I didn't get one because she performed a different facial.
