Pumping gas is not a highly satisfying experience. There was no 'wow' factor but that's the nature of the gas station experience. It's 'meh' at best. Nothing was wrong, all was fine but it's a seemingly thankless purchase & experience.

In preparation for a fun eventful Spring Break, I wanted to fill up my tank at Murphy USA. When I arrived at the pump, I pressed "Pay Attendant". I was greeted, and I responded. When I was finished, I went inside to pay. I was hoping to pay with cash and debit card. Brenden, the attendant at the time, told me he couldn't split. Either he didn't know how, or there was a new policy because I've done this before with Alvin, an evening attendant, and had no problem. Brenden did explain, but I wasn't listening on my part. I ended up paying with a debit card. It's okay though. No big deal. I'm still a satisfied regular customer!
