The Charleston Museum

We love the museum! We bought year passes and go when we please. I really wish they had more stuff though but it's still great. Also it would be best if the children's department was on the opposite side as there are stairs and a big drop down right by the children's area, I always worry when we are there that my autistic 3 year old will fall down the stairs or will climb the rail and fall because he loves to climb the rail and look down if I turn my head for a moment. Also one evening as we where leaving my sons finger got caught in the elevator door and almost chopped off I screamed for help but no one came ?? luckily it was only a cut and very badly bruised and not cut off. Needless to say all my children put their hands in their pockets when in the elevator now. Yikes!

Cool exhibits lots of history behind it

More interactive exhibits. More audio not just a million things to read. To see and read everything would take hours.
