No steam for facial and was not made aware of this prior to appointment.

Masseuse rubbed really fast. Enough pressure but not in a relaxing way. Felt more like a rub down then a massage. Not calm or relaxing.

My massage was different than expected. Not bad but different. I was expecting more of a Swedish and got more of a pressure point deep tissue type.

I was satisfied with my experience at Hand & Stone! My massage therapist was amazing, but during our couples massage my husbands therapist wasn’t as good as his previous massage at that location.

Receptionist was rude and unaccommodating. Called a different location to book and they were happy to make adjustments to schedule. This location responded rudely with no consideration and terrible customer service. No need to be rigid in policies. Training would be helpful.

The appointment started late and don't think I got the full time. Not a ton less, but still. Also, receptionist tried to charge for the upgrade that the person booking my appointment said I had won. Took longer than it should have to check out because of it.

My massage therapist is the best, she knows my body well and has really good pressure.

The pressure seemed to change during the course of the massage.

The massage therapist was definitely the best part of it. I don't get massage often, it's usually for medical anxiety but I don't appreciate that you don't pay your therapists enough that we still have to tip. I spent 120 dollars on two sessions in one day, that's a lot of money to sustainably treat something and then on top of that the pressure to tip. I know it's expected of us to give extra money. It's just overpriced I feel like. I would come more often if it was 80 dollars for 80 minutes all included no tip. Anyway, the pricing is high especially to not include gratuity. I don't want the therapist to not do a good job for me in the future because I didn't leave a tip. She was definitely very helpful in calming my nerves and releasing muscle tension and focusing on the areas I requested so I did leave the publicly posted appropriate tip amount. I would rather visit an in house masseuse or something though and get more for the money. I will go back though because she was so good, if not for that I would have cancelled membership and not gone back.
