I am satisfied with my Hand and Stone experience and recommend it to friends and family often

The therapist did not focus on the area I specifically asked that he focus on. Then he focused on my arms after I said I didn’t want them to be included. I left with most of the pain and discomfort I went there to get rid of. I will be asking for a different therapist in the future.

I’m sorry, I was highly satisfied. I didn’t mean to press anything else.

Overall, I was satisfied with my experience and have enjoyed my membership for some time now. On this visit, I saw a therapist for the first time who did a great job. My only dissatisfaction with this particular visit (which I have not experienced in the past) was that we started 15 minutes late. I understand that was a result of new COVID-related cleaning precautions, which is somewhat understandable and luckily I had no where to be afterward. I was appreciative that both the receptionist and the therapist acknowledged and/or apologized for the delay. And, as I would expect, we ended 15 minutes later than the original appointment length.

The room was cold for my massage, no warm blankets to keep warm, therapists arms and hands were cold. I was not given the amount of attention to the areas I requested, the service I selected for my facial was not available due to the equipment not working, the sheets I were given had stains on them. Also at check in I was Asher about the types of facial offered, there wasn’t an explanation until I was already laying down and had to quickly guess. Upon calling to book, I was told I would wait 15 minutes between appointments but it was more like 25.

I was highly satisfied with the previous therapist who left for another position. She referred me to someone else on staff but that person was out sick so I was rescheduled with another available therapist. Bottom line, my original therapist was able to provide a very relaxing yet effective myofascial release therapy. While I don't have any specific issue with the new therapist I saw, she was not quite as intuitive in her approach.

I feel like I was a bit rushed.

My biggest concern is cleaniness and sanitation, especially during cold/flu season. Multiple visits of late I've seen other customers leaving rooms who appeared ill. I really wonder if H&S is doing enough to prevent the spread of illness. i.e Lysol room between customers, wiping down tables between customers, fresh bedding/coverings, washing hands, encouraging guest and massage therapist to only attend if healthy. There is some muli headed challenge in identification of a therapist and availability of times. This challenge is understandable and par for the course. I do think therapist profiles would be helpful to highlight experience, expertise, etc. This would give visibility into who still works there vs searching for an appointment with them.

Darlene was an experienced massage therapist and was very knowledgeable. She provided the right amount of pressure and got the knots out in my muscles. Will use her again next month.
