Would like the Full minutes of massage paid for: if I lay down at four I would like hands on at four and hand out at 4:55

Other facials I have had have been a little more in-depth as far as discussing my skin. Usually the aesthetician will explain a little bit of what they are doing as they do it, ex. "this is abc face cleanser with xyz ingredients" Also the face massage seemed to last forever but not in a great way - more breaks between massaging/rubbing in cleanser would have been better. It wasn't a bad facial and the aesthetician was very nice - the general experience just didn't impress me enough to book a second one with her. Also the receptionist did not ask me if I wanted to book my next appointment which I didn't realize until I had already left.

I was actually intending on canceling my membership before I booked my last massage. Every massage I've had (with the exception of my most recent) was verging on terrible. Each time I left feeling like I needed to go get another massage (and I'm very used to getting massages because I get them often at other establishments). I figured I'd keep trying and maybe I would find a massage therapist that would better meet my needs. I don't typically ever get a massage done by male, but decided to give it a shot as James was the only one available for the time frame that I had before leaving town again. He actually did a terrific job and I've decided to continue with my membership at least another month because of it.

The massage therapist was nice but kept talking. It was about educating me vs keeping me relaxed. It was nice but I wanted to relax more vs she tell me all the things wrong with me

I was given a great massage but needed a bit more pressure. Michael is amazing and I'll continue to see him. Probably a miscommunication on my part. He always makes my visit a success!

The service itself was great. My esthetician discussed the best options for my skin and took care of my problem areas. However, I drove an hour to this location for my original appointment only to find out their power was out. I realize this is not something that was caused by hand and stone, but an earlier call or compensation for my time and/or gas money would’ve made me more inclined to return. The staff I spoke with didn’t seem very apologetic at all and whoever called me to inform me of the power outage didn’t even respond when I spoke so I’m not sure that an actual person ever called me about the issue.

I made the appointment with a specific person. I didn't know until i already arrived. I would have liked knowing prior to showing up as I may have rescheduled.

Between services, it would be nice to have a quiet waiting space. I was in the hall listening to the staff members trouble shoot problems from the power outage and clean their spaces. Not relaxing. Also, the sign that implies I should tip 20-30% off base service is offensive. A 20% tip means you did a good job. Tips are a gift of appreciation given to someone doing a service.

I could have communicated better to my massage therapist about the level of pressure I really wanted during my session. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience!
