The overall experience was good but i think there is room for improvement. The ability to book an appointment online would be very helpful

The receptionist at the Brentwood location are not very friendly. They aren’t very knowledgeable about questions you ask them and they have to typically ask a manager.

At my most recent visit, my massage only lasted 43 minutes despite the fact that I arrived early. This is the second time I have experienced this issue. On a previous visit, my massage only lasted 38 minutes. I brought the issue at the time to the attention of the manager, and she offered an aromatherapy for no added charge. That was a nice gesture, but I don't really care for, nor do I need aromatherapy. I prefer to have my massage last the entire 50 minutes. The next visits went for 50 minutes for a while but then this last visit was short again and only lasted 43 minutes, which means I am not getting my full massage service. I will call the manager this week and discuss it with her. It is a new manager compared to the previous one when this occurred before. Thanks!

I love Hand and Stone Massage in Brentwood! The staff are so friendly, and always make you feel so welcome and comforted. The atmosphere is beautiful. It’s always the best part of my day when I go. Such a treat.

Was not comparable to other deep tissue massages I have had, not enough presuure or kneading. Felt more like a sweedish massage and I left disappointed. Also I had scheduled an appointment with the Franklin cool springs branch, but the appointment was cancelled while I was driving there because the therapist was stuck in traffic. There was no other time available that day, so I ended up calling around and scheduling at the brentwood location. I had taken the day off from work just so I could get a massage and relax, but it ended up being the opposite of relaxing. It was a luxury that I don't often make time for and there was no attempt to help rectify the situation and then the massage I finally got was sub par.

First off, I want to highly praise my esthetician, Renee, for being a skilled therapist and a great human being. She listened with compassion about my 20 year struggle with my skin. She did what she felt was best with my inflamed and irritated skin, which was a customized sensitive skin facial. Thing is, I made an appt (which was accommodated the day of - due to a cancellation - which I very much appreciated) for a one hour LED treatment. I received 5 minutes of blue light treatment only. I also bought a Dermalogica trial kit, which I wary about, but Renee recommended (but did not pressure me to buy) them for my skin condition. I woke up this morning and my skin was 1000x worse. Broken out ALL over and a huge mess. I called the spa and the receptionist explained that the light could've caused it - or it could be a reaction to the products. I'm not sure what to do next. I did purchase a membership and plan to see Renee again, but I certainly cannot let my skin get any worse, so I will monitor and hope it doesn't get worse....

I left feeling great, however my shoulders ache more now than before my appointment. I ended up with tenderness to the touch..

I felt like the pressure applied I said medium and it was quite a bit harder. I am really sore today more than normal. I liked my therapist just didn’t seem to have the smooth relaxing approach I normally receive when I have come in the past.

Back too was cold. Vanessa is awesome and did offer to turn on small heater-I declined as did not want to hear it but would allow next time. Front desk area seems cluttered and receptionist does not know who is coming in. Missed my name when offered. When checking out, receptionist has trouble finding things and doing her job on pc. Second time for me and same for my wife. Elongates the time following an incredible experience.
