Hand and Stone

This was my first visit to this location and Darlene was extremely knowledgeable and help me understand why some of my issues are the way they are. She offered guidance on some stretches that I could do at home between appointments to relieve some tension.

My massage started on time and the therapist was very knowledgeable. I will need to have routine massages going forward to help manage pain. My hope is that hand and stone can accommodate referrals from my Chiropractor.

The massage therapist felt rushed. She need not complete a full body massage. She quickly did my add on package. The foot massage was terrible. The receptionist messed up my checkout. She used wrong gift card for my checkout and wrong name. Then she would not explain the charges she had charged me for

I thought the "dues" entitled me to a monthly message at $49.95. I was charged $59.95 instead which I thought was the "non-member" rate. Also, I booked the first time I attended, yet, on return was told that my "dues" would not be due for another two days. Confusing concepts.

Reception area is not relaxing. Wish there was a separate "tranquility" waiting room. I do like the coconut water offered. Waiting room is also too small.

I have had good massage therapists when I have been but one time she talked the whole time knowing I was there due to a severe migraine (even after I told her I get massages very often and she didn't have to tell me anything). The next time the therapist didn't come get me until 15 minutes after my scheduled time and I got undressed very quickly. But we still ended the session at the time we would have if we had started on time. So I basically had a half hour session. I try to come in when my headaches are severe and I was in the middle of one of one of them so I was not bringing it up at that moment.

It was ok.

There was a problem ringing up my service with my package. Had to give credit card info again, over the phone , but I believe the problem was resolved.

This cost of services is outrageous, not just here but at all local spas. I don't consider it fiscally responsible to spend this kind of money on frivolous things on a regular basis.

I grade pretty hard , to achieve highly will require more than one visit. I will be back you need to be tested more than once .
