Myra at Elmhurst is great. She remembers what are my problem areas, applies the right amount of pressure, and I always leave there feeling relaxed.

The massage was overall enjoyable but did not feel customized to my needs. This overall impacts the value, it would not be worth full retail price in my opinion

This was an appointment I had to rebook because last minute on the first one was canceled moments before I got there. Part of my package included CBD treatment and it was not used. I also had $20 for upgrade that could have been used for deep tissue but that was not offered to me.

The esthetician I was scheduled with was not in on the day of my appointment so i was scheduled with another esthetician. Although I was very satisfied with the esthetician that did my service. I feel I should have been notified that my regular esthetician was not going to be available for my scheduled appointment. After all I was sent at least two reminder messages to make sure I kept my appointment.

My wife and I scheduled massages at the same time as a gift for each other. A day before, were received a call from the Spa that my wife's therapist had to cancel due to being sick. It was disappointing because this was a gift for the both of us. It was suppose to be a great first time experience at this Spa but ended up being disappointed. Receptionist was nice about it but it was just "I'm sorry" and that's it. My massage therapist was great but this situation tainted the entire experience.

It was probably worth the intro price but I would not pay full price for the quality and ambiance I experienced. Just okay.

I was satisfied with the experience, though compared to other massages I have had, Hand and Stone didn't have the same ambiance. It is a great value for the money, and I will likely return, but when I want a more relaxing or luxurious experience, there are better options out there.

The esthetician have family emergencies according to the manager that’s why she did not show on time. But in my experience, usually before the start of the shift, a manager should know already if there’s a call in/absent. They should have a back plan. The service recovery is great but what if I don’t have any other time to reschedule that’s the only downside. People are coming to be pampered to be stress free. But otherwise I would say the service is excellent.

I was across from the employees break room which they were loud and it was hard to relax and enjoy my massage

The facility is looking tired. The chair in the treatment room and a chair in the reception area showed wear beyond use.
