Hand and Stone

I’m just moving here. There are a lot of massage place to choose from. The massage was very good though.

I had planned on getting a 1 hour massage as well as a 1 hour facial. The esthetician was ill so she didn't show up (I understand) however I should have received a phone call regarding this so I can reschedule another day for both services. Now I have to come back for my facial. I should have been notified and left up to ME whether or not I want 1 service or wait to get both services.

I am very satisfied with my therapist, I am concerned about the total amount I pay in a visit, which including tip is about $130

Everything is flowing from the top and I really like how the Hand and Stone at Elmhurst is managed. Robin was helpful in explaining the upgrades to my facial and the availability of products.

I requested for my niece and I to be in the same room for massages and when we got there that was not the case we were in different rooms

I felt there was an attempt to upsell products.

The issues I have cannot be cured by massage , only temporary relief. I am satisfied with the massage. The therapist suggested CBD oil. I will have to check with doctor.

I was satisfied during the visit. Tried to use a gift card but did not realize that it had expired in November (one yr from issue date). That is my fault. However, as there were some months during this timeframe that the spa was closed during the pandemic, the company should have made some some allowances. Not the fault of the reception desk so I did not pursue the issue.

I love the ease of the membership and how it is affordable. The massages are always good and I like the options for upgrades. I also really appreciated the free upgrade or discounted upgrade options the first several months. Would love more of those!

I appreciate a strong approach to deep tissue massage, and my therapist was cautious about getting me warmed up before really digging in. I would have preferred a stronger touch and perhaps we will be able get there if I continue with this therapist for the long term.
