The mask that we have to wear for the appointment are ridiculous. If our esthetician are wearing masks and the shield (proper PPE), we should be able to not wear it. I go to the dentist office where my mouth is wide open and there is no mask for my nose because the dentist is wearing the PPE that is needed. I spend 60$ a month for a membership, and go to get a facial that isn’t even helping the spots I have issues with. Esthetician Aly (Aly is an amazing esthetician who I have been going to for the past year, she is so knowledgeable on what she is doing) suggested products for me because she couldn’t get to those areas, so I had to go home and do my own facial, as I pay 60$ for one. I enjoy facials and have seen such benefit from them but really considering cancelling because it’s not worth the money at all.

At check out it felt kind of quick. No mention if there was something I wanted to buy. Only thing I was told was if I didn't become a member right then and there i won't be offered a special rate again.

When getting my massage, the pressure was too much (with this specific massage therapist). I repeatedly asked for less pressure which they did but then went back to too much pressure.

I wanted the person to focus longer on a foot massage (which was one of my problem areas addressed) but overall was a good massage. Recommended the person to 2 people already. She did overall well.

I love Hand and Stone and will be back. I scheduled a last-minute appointment and took "whoever I could get". The therapist I had was friendly, but just very odd. The pressure was very strong to a point of discomfort. He also started chatting me up about "what stresses me out" and then brought up that he likes to relax while watching movies like Gone with the Wind and the Exorcist. He started telling me an odd story about the Exorcist and all of it just made me uncomfortable and unable to relax. Nice guy, no doubt, but this was odd for a massage. Afterwards he demonstrated some exercises I could do for my back (including bridges!), but did this in the hallway in front of other staff and guests and it was somewhat embarrassing. Beyond that I am pretty sure he was chewing gum or eating candy the whole time which I could hear and made me nervous from a covid perspective, even with masks, if he's chewing within 3 feet of my face etc. Again, lovely person not trying to be mean, but this had to be the strangest and one of the least relaxing massage experiences I've ever had.

It's not a luxury spa. The schedule availability didn't fit my schedule how I would've most preferred. Little bigger room.

The facial was very rushed. I am pleased with the products, but the esthetician was in such a rush. I had two additional add ons and she was finished with me within an hour. Also, during the mask I am pretty sure she was on her phone because I kept hearing the tapping of a phone.

When I booked the appointment I booked a 90 minute message and a foot treatment. When I got there I was told it was a 50 minute and nothing was mentioned about the foot treatment. When I checked out I asked the receptionist about the message she said it said 50 minutes, I then asked about the foot treatment and she said it was on their. I told her I didn't get it she just said shed take it off. I said I still wanted it and she then asked me about buying gift cards. I'm not happy

Could be because my double appointment was at 545pm, but I felt a little rushed. But it was late so I get it.
