The staff could have taken extra precautions for sanitizing. (ie sharing of pens and not sanitizing afterwards)

We were unaware that booking a couples massage would result in an extra fee for use of the room. Our friend had booked the massage for us and did not know of this extra charge ahead of time.

I was hoping that there would be air purifiers in the reception area and massage room. I got to my massage on time to minimize time in the building, but then it did not start in time.

I prefer firm pressure. I told my therapist but it wasn’t as firm as I’ve had in the past

I just don’t like going anywhere right now because I don’t like wearing a mask and don’t feel the majority of the population need masks. I feel if you are sick you should use one to prevent spreading or prevent from being infected for those that feel they are at risk. Protests were not stopped thousands of people were gathered without concern, social distancing and many were without masks. If I stop membership it would potentially be until things are a bit more normalized.

I did not see much of a difference (or any really) with my skin after the facial.

I love this Hand & Stone and I always receive amazing service from start to finish. Unfortunately I had a disappointing experience at the end of my last visit - At check out, I had 5 GCs, 2 were $20 promotional. One of the promotional GC's apparently wasn't processing so the associate at the desk said it had expired. I was surprised because I had a service just in March prior to your closure and I always check if they are about to expire and that was never shared. I asked if she would check when it expired - She took my GC to the back to speak with someone and it just got awkward from there. 10-15MIN later she told me it expired Jan2020, with no proof of expiration. I thought that was strange, but I just didn't want to hassle with it. I then asked for the GC that I should receive for keeping my membership while you were closed it continued to be uncomfortable. The associate looked bothered that I asked for it and said, "Oh you got that email". After being closed for 3 months and finally reopening, I expected much better customer service. It should have been a no problem attitude, but instead it was awkward & uncomfortable. I just paid and left.
