1. There was a huge push to upsell services and products at the beginning of my treatment. Made me very uncomfortable and almost ruined experience for me 2. No amenities (ie steam room, pillow room, relaxation room, etc) so not competitive w other spas I’ve been to

I did not get a facial. I had a back wax done. $90 is an absurd markup from what used to be a $60 service. $35 for an eyebrow wax that used to cost $20 is also an outrageous markup.

There is always room for improvement in all areas. My appt was 10 minutes behind which I understand happens and she did give me the full 50 minutes pushing the next person back. Prior to me being called back there was a big discussion in reception area between 6 employees- not sure why that was necessary. None of my business but you don’t gather in the same area as clients especially if running behind.

First time at a hand and stone. Not sure if it was a spa or just a salon. Was not spa like.

I was specific about my upper back/neck area being a problem and requested firm pressure. The pressure was pretty light the whole time, even though reiterated that I prefer medium to firm. The therapist did not spend much time on my neck at all. Felt like my muscles were grazed over with oil rather than really worked on.
