Hand and Stone

I was very disappointed to learn that Hand and Stone was still requiring masks. It’s hard enough to plant your head face down in a bed on a regular basis, let alone wearing a mask. I actually had to ponder whether to keep my appt or not. I was convinced to give it a try. I made out ok, I simply pulled the mask down while getting my massage. I didn’t have much of a choice in order to breathe and relax. Other than the frustration of that I had a great experience.

Appointment availablity is limited. I had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment

Sheet had a hole or stain. Blanket had me sweating and waited an unusually long time for the therapist to return to the room to begin the massage.

My massage therapist was very nice and everything was on time. I have been getting massages for a long time and hers was a little different in the beginning but I love new techniques! Her flow is a little off and felt like my concerns weren’t really addressed but that wasn’t the end of the world for me. Her pressure would go from hard to very soft. She definitely has great potential as a massage therapist she should just work on her flow, incorporating different massage moved vs keep doing the same thing over and keeping pressure constant throughout the massage.

The massage therapist never introduced herself, so I didn't even know her name. I am paying a monthly service fee, but appointments are only available every 6 weeks. I told her I had a problem spot, but every massage is exactly the same, whether or not you express a problem area or not.

Wait time to check out. Only one receptionist and she was on a long call with a customer. Probably should have at least 2 admins when 2 or more services at same time

Only 1 person working desk and 3 people were waiting. Once on the table waiting in the massage room waited 6 minutes for therapist to return. However, I felt the massage was not rushed and I did get the full time allotted.

Appointments are extremely hard to book. Thinking about canceling membership. No available days or time. Establishment should hire more therapists

The massage therapist was very friendly and professional, and I did particularly like the hand and foot treatments I added to the massage. The only reason I did not give a higher rating was because I expected more of a concentration on relieving aches in the areas I mentioned, rather than a general relaxation massage.

I was very please with my overall experience with Amanda! She was great and listened to my concerns. I will be visiting again.
