Hand and Stone

I love my facial, prompt, shared knowledge and careful. My massage technician was late and then my appointment was cut short. She was finishing her break? She was sniffling the whole time, talked about politics and was asking me if I thought Covid was a hoax. Told me that she is in jeopardy to have utilities cut off and people haven’t been tipping her. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Told her my problem spots were my neck, shoulder and lower back. She worked my lower back and it wasn’t relaxing/satisfying at all, she hurt my neck and I told her too much pressure and she said it’s my tightness not her pressure. Would go back for a facial not another massage from this woman though.

Everything was of good quality. The online information survey is a little confusing. There should be a block in each survey section to check not applicable N/A so that customer can be sure they have covered the survey correctly. And it is difficult to “sign” the survey using a mouse. Massage pressure was a little light for what I was used to for a deep muscle massage. But in general, it was a good experience and plan to return.

Ii schedules a 50 minute massage and a 10 minute added a hot towel foot treatment. The entire service was complete in 50 minutes. The receptionist also asked for my gift card when I checked in. Normally this is done when checking out.

All went well. The place is extremely clean, therapist was very friendly.

Massage therapists are great, friendly and welcoming. I prefer a more deep tissue massage than a Swedish massage - not sure the massage therapists are licensed ?

IN the waiting area there were only two chairs marked as able to be used while waiting for the massage technician. However there were 4 other seats, it make sense that there needed to be an empty chair between clients, but for all the chairs to be marked as do not use seemed excessive when we all had our masks on.

I’m am always happy and very satisfied when leaving Hand and Stone. I always feel welcomed by the front desk employees and I always leave my facial and massage feeling comfortable and relaxed.

Massage therapist and front desk did not where their mask properly. they noses were not covered. my massage was excellent and she was very nice but I felt nervous with the masks not being worn properly and I didnt feel comfortable saying something at my appointment

The masseuse could be more personable she never check to see how I was doing During the Massage. I felt better after the service but that extra step could have change my experience from a 4 to a 5. It’s the little things.

While it was a good massage, it wasn't quite what I had expected. I've never had a massage so I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it was going to be a license therapist and not an assistant. It was a bit rough and I felt tense. Next time I will speak up more about the pressure being applied.
