Hand and Stone

I think Hand and Stone is a nice place and I’ll be giving it another try. My masseuse never removed the sheets and massaged my thighs or upper leg area. She only massaged my lower legs, arms and back. I’ve had numerous massages done in my adulthood and never did someone not massage my entire body

The front desk staff that i spoke with initially was not understanding my questions. Then I had 3 different calls to confirm my appointment… but the first message said “don’t call if you will be here “ The front desk is not accommodating. Need more training. It’s frustrating

The massage therapist, Penny, was highly effective and excellent. I had very limited contact with the receptionist. I felt satisfied that they acknowledged me when I came in, but they did nothing above a greeting to warrant a highly satisfied. Penny, however, deserves a highly satisfied.

First off, my aesthetician is GREAT! This is a negative on Hand and Stone as a whole, not her! I've gotten add ons several times, both massage and facial. I never feel like the extra $20 to $40 is worth it. With a facial add, for the extra $$$, all I get is an extra product on my face. No extra time. It is minimal effort and I'm sure the amount of product being used is not worth $20. With a massage, they massage with hot stones for maybe two minutes and thats it. I will no be getting add ons any more, it is not worth it.

The massage is very expensive to begin with. I was brought in 5 minutes after my appointment, but it still ended exactly on time. It probably started 10 minutes late by the time I was undressed and ready. When you spend these prices for a 50 minute massage, it would be nice to get the full time. Massage therapist was great. Company, overall, feels corporate, which is a less relaxing experience overall.

It was a little disappointing to find out my therapist didn't perform deep tissue massage. I have never had to specify that while booking an appt. the massage was fine, it just wasn't exactly what i wanted. my therapist was personable, but a little too chatty.

Therapist talked a lot and asked a lot of questions, pressure wasn’t enough , spent more time on one area than the other , didn’t use enough oil

Lisa is very knowledgeable & is always concerned about finding products that will work for me even though I'm allergic to a few things

My therapist did not introduce herself, I never knew her name. No information on my intake forms was referenced or discussed. Overall I was satisfied with the massage and have no significant complaints
