informed front desk that i am a returning customers but had previous horrible experience with billings the last time..no customer rentention antics was taken. told estetician on target areas,she did work on it,but felt that it was not 100% as right after the session i still see bumps on skin surface which was not cleared up.overall was a pleasant 1.

Therapist did not adjust pressure when I expressed pain. Continued pressing elbows into back and ribs to the point of leaving bruises

The esthetician was great although didn’t seem prepared at first. She walked out three times to get something she needed. She did make up the time though.

1. changing in the room was not private. Not having a locker for personal belongings or a place to change more appropriately 2. Despite the question of what areas to focus on, I got more of an intro to a whole massage and less on those areas needed 3. I do not like hard massages, but was a challenge to say it each time he moved to another spot. I felt like I was bruising, despite the fact he was trying to lighten up. He was nice enough, did his best, and it was not him that made it less enjoyable, just not much of the hard massage type.

I’ve been going to Hand & Stone for about a year. My massage therapist was very kind this time, but did not have the best techniques as others did. Her techniques were very rudimentary compared to passed therapists. She did the same moves over and over in the same spot. I’m waking up today a bit sore with areas over-rubbed.

I loved the place and the people. Martin my therapist was spot on an very skilled. He did exactly what I needed him to do. I guess everyone likes it as much as I do, which is why it took a while to get through on the phone line. I was on hold for fifteen minutes on my phone, so I called from my house phone (while still holding the other line) and got right through. They need a better system for on hold calls or maybe they should ring back after being on hold for a few minutes. I don’t have a problem with this place at all and I actually signed up for a membership after my first visit. This category would just be something they can improve on or maybe I’ll look into booking online, but they said sometimes their site glitches a lot.

The whole time I felt as if the purpose was to sell me products instead of asking about my skin concerns or focusing on relaxation. I said I'd rather not purchase the products because I enjoyed my own and was still told several times to buy various products and the esthetician did not know prices or specific details.
