Service was good but didn’t appreciate the try to up sale. Therapist was good but could have changed pressure throughout to use more on problem area. Therapist spoke negatively about another therapist which always brings into question one’s ability to work with others.

Therapist are too reluctant to massage. Only partial massages due to being scared of offending client

My massage therapist was over thirty minutes late for my appointment which is frustrating because a massage should be a very relaxing experience. The manager did great at making it up to me by offering me a free facial and also working to get my massage in with someone else.

I really enjoyed my esthetician. She seemed to know the products really well and we talked about my skins needs so that I could go home with a skincare routine.

This is my second visit and although it was my first time at the location I felt like the pressure was not right but I was trying to relax so I didn’t mention it. Also he smelled of cigarettes but he was very nice so I wasn’t trying to complain.

Im paying for a 60 minutes and it’s usually 45, I know you need time to flip rooms and the therapist needs to take a break but the last time I was there she left for the day afterward, so starting at 5-10 after the hour and cutting it off at 10 til didn’t seem necessary. I also don’t need one every month and transferring them to other people is additional cost and then ends up costing the same as if I didn’t have a membership, so I’ll probably discontinue at some point because it costs just as much to not have a membership per massage.

The reception area feels more like a doctor or dentist office waiting room and is cluttered with products. The massage therapist did not focus on the area I asked, and it would be nice if the massage rooms had more of an updated spa vibe, and smelled nicer.

I felt the experience for the service was great. My only issue is how it was handled when my usual esthetician no longer worked at the location I attended. Considering I was seeing her every visit, I should’ve been notified that I would not be seeing my normal esthetician for my next visit. Instead I was surprised when arriving. This is the second time this has happened when attending this location.

I am used to going to more luxurious spas. As such, my experience at Hand and Stone has simply been satisfying due to my skewed taste. Regardless, my massage therapists have been fabulous.

I loved my massage, the person who massaged me; and I loved my facial, and the person who gave me a facial. What I didn't love were 2 things: I'm naïve and when they showed me the "ADD ON LIST," I checked the facial box thinking that I was going to get to Add On a facial to my massage for $20. Fortunately, when I told the facial girl that -- she quickly corrected me that I would be charged NORMAL fees and the Add On was IN ADDITION to the cost! Secondly, I DIDN'T LIKE the high pressured sales job at the end of my time about signing up for the monthly service. I had to say NO several times -- and that I wanted to think about it.
