There is a big turnover of both therapists and staff which does not speak highly of hand and stone. I'll get a therapist I really like and then they're "not available". Then when I ask if they've left the answer is always yes. This isn't good at all.

Massage therapist I previously used left for another salon. I followed her there to find out who to use. She provided a name and when I called, she was gone too. Used another recommended person who had very few openings. Why are personnel leaving?

Crystal was excellent. Tabiltha was not personable or friendly.

The massage did what it was supposed to do. My therapist was very nice.

There is always room for improvement. Receptionists could be slightly more friendly but they were nice. Asking more questions about pressure throughout the massage gives shy clients the opportunity to give feedback.

It was a good experience, but not excellent. Masseuse could have used more pressure, done more/different things to relieve my stress.

The staff was pretty pushy about signing up for a membership even after I declined. I would be more apt to actually sign up if I was able to make that choice on my own.

Just felt like another person coming through no real personal attention.

I just switched to this location after moving to town. At my previous location in Falls Church, VA, I used to see the master esthetician to take care of my particular skin needs. I did not feel as if the specialist I saw recently at the Overton Ridge location had as much expertise or knowledge of what to do. I specifically noted my skin goals and did not feel like I received a comprehensive evaluation and treatment recommendation for how to get to my goals. While the specialist was incredibly professional, friendly and well-knowledgeable, I did not feel that she held the kind of deep expertise that I am used to when receiving a service or treatment at hand and stone.
