Hand and Stone

It takes a lot for me to be highly satisfied.

My face has never had dark spots and redness like after I had the facial done. It responded well to the microdermabrasion but the treatments she used after stung and completely irritated my face. Now it looks worse than before :(

So far everyone has been great

I’m realizing a 50 minute massage just isn’t enough. A full hour would be better, and paying for an extra 30 minutes may be what I need to do.

Wanted a full body massage but she concentrated too much on one area and kept repeating the same massage over and over in the same area not leaving enough time for other areas. Arms and feet were untouched and legs on the back only. Prob new and inexperienced. That is one thing I am not happy with, you keep changing therapists.

This was my first time seeing Payton. My first impression of her was that she was tired, stressed, and ready to go home. She asked me what pressure I preferred and I said medium to firm. Her pressure was occasionally firm but otherwise light and I didn’t want to ask her to do more because I could feel her arms shaking. Her technique wasn’t thorough and while she did spend most of the appointment time on my focus areas it was not quality work. She also neglected to do full body other than the back of my legs. Possibly worst of all when I was in my back and she was “massaging” my neck she kept heavily breathing into my face. It was very unpleasant. This is the only appointment I have been dissatisfied with and otherwise have had fantastic experiences with Hand and Stone.

When upgrading the facial to add microdermabrasion, no additional time was given. I feel if I am using multiple packages, there should be ample time. The facial felt rushed at the end.

100 minute massage not an option. Only reason why I joined the membership.

When I got back home I noticed that the oil or lotion that was used was all over the back of my bra and had seeped onto my shirt. The shirt is now stained and I was not able to get it out. It’s very irritating that I was not told it could stain my shirt or even warned that the bra would get in the way.

My therapist did a good job- the receptionist struggled to explain the 3 month membership and the processes to continue monthly membership after. She couldn’t tell me why my debit card was being requested now when my 3 month membership was prepaid. She said “no one has thoroughly explained it to me so I’m sorry I’m not good at explaining it”
