For the majority of my massage the therapist just merely rubbed me with the palms of her hands, not much manipulation. I asked to increase the pressure twice but noticed no difference. She rubbed me with the stones which, to me, only took up time that she could have been working out my tension areas. It was very blah and I felt it was a massage that my husband or friend, without training, could have given me

Was told that the massage therapist can no longer do 100 minute massages.

The product broke out my face and my pores look worse since I had the Facial. The smell the product bothered me the whole time of the facial.

The therapist moved quickly from one area to another and back. Her movements very very quick and did not allow for me to relax.

I'm not super into spas, facials, manicures, pedicures--things like that. This was my first facial ever, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that it went so well, and that was probably due to Barbara being awesome. I would like to come again, the price is pretty steep.

During facial and massage, neither tecnician washed their hands before massaging my scalp and I left with a head full of massage oil.

The Murphy location is not flexible with members. They have charged me for letting my daughter use one of my pre paid months which was one of the selling points in joining. I also never cancel without 24 hours notice but I was very ill and had to cancel and they were cold and unfeeling and charged a cancellation fee. My therapist was very understanding and Rachel is the only reason I have not cancelled yet

When adding the “extras” it cuts into the time of the focus of the appointment. The extras should be extra time and services not to subtract from the massage/facial.

I scheduled my appointment after I finished my previous massage. I told the receptionist that I wanted the same massage therapist (Cynthia-she is my favorite). When I got to my appointment it turned out that Cynthia was working the desk that night instead of a massage therapist. I was really disappointed because Cynthia is my favorite. I didn't say anything until after my appointment because it was too late for me to cancel. I spend a lot of money for these appointments and I really would like to get the massage therapist I scheduled. Since Cynthia works both as a massage therapist and front desk receptionist I am not sure if there was a distinction of her role that night when I scheduled the appointment. However I did schedule it for her to be the massage therapist so I would hope in the future that someone would call me so I can reschedule or at least choose the massage therapist that I want and not one that is chosen for me. I was just disappointed from the start so it affected my massage. The massage therapist I had was good but I like Cynthia much better.
