Fairfield Inn & Suites, San Antonio

I have stayed at this hotel previously. Pretty much the same experience as last time. Front desk lady was awesome, the rest of the staff that I interacted with was great. If you are looking for a place to stay that has reasonable rates with great service you can't find any better than this. By the way the hot tub was nice and hot

Staff members were professional and friendly. However, this hotel is not equipped or structured for extended stays beyond 2 consecutive nights. I think the location should be more clearly advertised as the overnight stay hotel that it is. There is no "fitness center" on-site, despite the website claiming that to be true. The regular rooms have no real living areas such as seats/couches, sink, cooking or food accessories, etc. I could barely get extra trash bags, much less napkins or kitchenware. The website also states refrigerators are available upon request; when I placed my reservation I was told my room already had one. It turned out to be a mini icebox with very little storage space & it only slightly chilled drinks b/c even the highest setting didn't get cold. Website says airport shuttle available upon request as well but it actually doesn't run on weekends or after 6pm on weekdays. Every day I pretty much ran into some type of new inconvenience b/c the hotel was lacking. Not to mention the bed mattress is probably the worst I've ever slept on in all my years of business traveling & hotel stays. Lose the cheesy jacuzzi & invest in decent mattress. Friendly staff & clean sheets are basically my only positive notes of feedback.
