The check-in difficult was disorganized. There are several levels to this hotel and the front desk is actually upstairs on the 2nd floor but there was nobody there to greet us and tell us where to go. Issues with payments for room. Pool is the most difficult thing in the world to locate. It's on the 3rd floor and requires a long walk down a hallway and a separate elevator. Our toilet was broken when we got there. No free wifi even though it is a business area unless you sit in the lobby with the world's slowest internet. I really disliked this place. Not very pretty or well decorated.

The outside is beautiful but the inside seems dated.

Not very pretty or clean for a Weston. Dirt on windows, etc., the lobby position was odd, should be downstairs when you walk in the door. $18 parking is outrageous for Tampa. For New York, sure, but Tampa??!! They must be out of their minds. Same goes for a $10 well whiskey. Reasonable for New York, insane for tampa. The most I've ever paid for a well drink in tampa was $8 at far nicer places. Regardless of all these small complaints, the real issue was that there was no hot water for a shower in the morning. A pipe had busted, which I understand is out of managements control. However, when I called down they couldn't have been less concerned, it took a long pause before he offered to even call back to update me. On the call back, he said very casually sorry, it's going to be a few hours. (This is an hour before checkout and we have to go somewhere) I was waiting for a genuine apology or some form of empathy and got nothing, so I asked to speak to a manager at which time he informed me he was the desk supervisor. I responded that I understand this is out of his control, but his nonchalant attitude was a bit surprising for a manager. He offered to comp the parking fee. Finally at checkout we spoke face to face, he comped half the room charge. Overall, very unsatisfactory guest relations. None of these small issues would have been mentioned because I'm a pretty reasonable, laid back person and seldom complain. But the treatment was more on par with motel 6 than a westin.
