Picked up a family member from Fire Stone Didn't buy anything

Went in for an oil change and asked how long of a wait. The response was "it will be a while." I asked, "how long is a while?" I was told "I don't know, my tire truck just got here." I don't even know what that meant or what it had to do with my oil change and I said "okay, I'll just go somewhere else." Never at anytime was asked if I could leave my car, come back later, etc. Just a bad way to win customers. I had a coupon and I had never stepped foot into this establishment before today. The potential to snag a new customer just went out the window. Isn't that the purpose of coupons?
