great visit

I got this on Hotwire and was glad it was a best western plus. It was a 2.5 star hotel and was clean and beds where comfortable. The front desk guy was very nice.

Love this hotel for price and location. Only down side is parking at peak times of the year because the lot is shared with a restaurant and another hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel probably 4 times in the past year and have always had a very positive experience. This time though, I had a huge cleanliness problem, and honestly I was really upset because I pay a little extra so that I don't have these problems by staying here. I checked in the day after Valentine's Day and when I went to use a cup next to the coffee maker there were leftover strawberry rinds that someone had eaten and stuffed between the cups. I began to wonder if someone (staff or otherwise) stayed in the room the previous night and were trying to hide that fact. Made it worse when I find parts of a strawberry in my bed as well. The next day I came back to a room that was sloppily put back together, the pillows were just thrown on the bed, used towels that were on the floor were still there and pizza that was placed next to the trashcan to be thrown away (but not in the trashcan because it would not fit) was still just sitting where I had left it. I'm really upset at this negative experience and might reconsider staying there regularly.
