Went to the Wingate by Wyndham Greenville Airport for one night. It was a last minute stay. The room we received was very nice, it was one of the renovated rooms. The service at the front desk was good when you got it, but the staff was somewhat all over the place and not where you'd expect them to be when you needed them. The breakfast buffet was ok - good sausage, pastries, eggs were dry. The customer service was a little lacking. They weren't rude, but they were somewhat lackadaisical and were not proactive. Example: there were only two plates available to put food on at the buffet. When we asked whether there were more, the staff member asked if we needed more. Well we didn't really, we could make do with one plate each, but we're not the only ones in the hotel, and would have preferred to have more. Once we took those plates for our food, there were none left for anyone. Instead of being proactive and making sure there were enough supplies available for guests, the staff member seemed interested in doing the bare minimum and cared more about the conversation she was having with her coworker, than keeping the food area appropriately stocked. Again, she wasn't rude, just kinda unprofessional.. Not on her A game. That was kind of the overall sense at the hotel. They also had no crib available (as in we don't have any in the building) for our infant. They said they got rid of the old ones during the renovation, but hadn't reviewed the new ones. That's poor planning too.

Nice hotel but the van was 15 mins late picking us up from the airport. Front desk was not apologetic & seemed uninterested in doing their job. The van driver (young lady) was nice but still didn't apologize for being late. Location overall was good--close to many restaurants
