Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel

We are staying here for the national womans lacrosse tournament. Compared to where we stayed last year, this hotel is not quite as nice but it is still a good hotel.

Ok. But there were no refrigerators in the room and the bed was broken

Visited a friend

All vending machines I tried were broke or out of stock. Went to 5 different floors and none of them worked for one reason or another. And then it costs $10 for 2 bottles of soda and 2 candy bars. Had to buy stuff elsewhere

Room felt very muggy, moldy and stale. Not what I was expecting for a well known property. The elevators were not very clean and the coffee in the lobby of hotel was vibe dry...no go for business travelers who are in the go. The staff was pleasant

The hotel was very busy at around midnight and we checked in quickly. The front desk help was very loud in telling us info. Bar closed at 1. We decided to come down for a quick beer. They wanted 6 dollars for a beer kinda expensive. There was a cup of foul smelling black like tar with plastic wrap sitting right in front of us where we eat and drink and that bar. I asked what it was and they said it was a fly trap! That sounds a bit against health code.

The rooms were small and tight. No refrigerator or microwave . No complimentary beverage . The outlets in bathroom were not working. Overall experience was not that pleasant
