Since my family and I were going to Houston for the Father's Day weekend and we are members of Starwood rewards, we saw a great price for the hotel and decided to book a room. The room and hotel were very nice and clean but the ceiling of the bathroom had some water damage and I didn't like the fact that the couch wasn't a pullout. Another complaint we had was the cost of parking. We had to pay $19 /day, quite steep for parking in a garage that was for hotel guests only. I guess there had to be a catch for the discounted rate.

When I asked for a room for five people they gave me a room with only two beds and when I asked for blankets for the one person who would have to sleep on the couch that wasn't even a pullout, the hotel staff informed me they were out of blankets, but would up sheets. I was reasonably surprised because the weekend I was staying wasn't even that of a holiday and yet the hotel staff seemed seriously either lacking amenities or reluctant to help. Will not be advising
