staff was very friendly but the refrigerators as well as the rooms were tiny.

Super friendly staff! I don't think there was a staff member that we encountered who wasn't pleasant, courteous & helpful. Evening wine hour was crazy, so many people but expected - hey, anything free on SF should be taken advantage of! Rooms were a little small, older & worn but comfortable & clean - convenient location. Would return if we get the chance---
