I always love to look at the gemstone collection. Didn't get in to see the dinosaurs this time. It was a little crowded

the food is ridiculously priced. on top of that, the food isnt even good. the pizza looked like it was under cooked and the sandwich i got was stale bread. the turkey was too dry and old to consume. also, i got a cookie, a juice and chips and my total was 23$ thats insane. never eating here again.

Nice museum, but when they give you the 15 minute closing warning, they're shooing you out the door right that minute. Even tho you have 15 minutes to choose something from the gift shop, they hover over your shoulder telling you that you'd better hurry up and make your final selection. They are bringing displays in, blocking walkways, and closing the doors halfway. Also, they were pretty rude when we got up to the counter to make our purchase. I realize that almost everybody in the DC area is rude, but I was hoping for a refreshing change when we visited the smithsonian museums. Then I remembered that DC residents work there.
