Food is expensive but great hotel

I purchased this hotel room from Hotwire and received a confirmation of my stay from Hotwire. Upon arrival the hotel was unable to receive payment from Hotwire for the hotel booking. We were on the phone for over an hour before finally getting the issue settled. We were compensated with complementary breakfast vouchers, which was appreciated. However, it would have been helpful if Crowne Plaza had clearer policies and procedures for issues with Hotwire bookings.

The staff was extremely unprofessional and inattentive to guests. They were cursing loudly in front of customers. They also had their friends there talking and laughing with in the lobby and eating at the front desk while I was waiting to be helped. It was just a poor experience altogether. The room itself was mediocre but clean enough. I had to also request housekeeping the following day for replacement of towels and clean up which should have been done that morning. This hotel needs a lot of maintenance and the upkeep is poor. I expected more of this hotel. I will not be coming back.
