The massage I had was satisfied, I had better massage elsewhere. The therapist did not ask about the pressure and I thought having a scalp massage was the whole head not just the bottom of my head.

Jael is great! My appointment was supposed to start at 1 pm but didn't get into the room until 115 pm and she ended at 150pm so not sure why it's advertised as a one hour massage when I got less than 40 mins. It's uncomfortable to ask that while your naked and your masseuse is getting ready to leave the room.

First, I would like to say that I am very pleased with Caitlin, my massage therapist! I originally joined Hand & Stone in 2018, with a store 1 mile from my home. Upon moving to Atlanta, my current store is my best geographical option, 15 miles away. Very costly round trip, particularly under current gasoline prices. With that said, because I am so pleased with the staff, I plan to remain a member for the foreseeable future.

Did not enjoy the receptionist. I spent time filling out the form online but was. OT saved in the system. The massagist could have trimmed his fingernails better felt like it scratched me a bit.

I feel the receptionist are always asking for tips for the therapist. I had not even had the message yet and she was asking for it. I said that I just wanted to leave after the massage and I made sure I owed nothing before I started the massage. Why mess up the feeling of the massage with having to deal with the receptionist. Upon leaving, the receptionist asked yet again if I wanted to leave a tip. I said I already left one. Seesh! Enough with the tip. If H&S is so concerned about the tips, pay your therapists more money A tip should not be expected.

My therapist was AWESOME! She will definitely keep me coming back. I do feel the music having commercials during your massage is less than desirable. I would expect Hand and Stone to provide music or music subscriptions for each location. Nobody wants an ESPN commercial in between a spa playlist. Again, my therapist was AMAZING.

The reception area is not very inviting. It feels cramped with all the products on display and, while the natural light is lovely, people walking by on the sidewalk look in and that's kind of uncomfortable.

I felt like the therapist did not spend enough time on problem areas. Her transitions were not smooth (ie a lot of noise moving the stool). I also left feeling extremely oily. In the past I’ve had therapists use steam towels.
