There was a promotion on a sign by the coolers where Starbucks energy drinks were located stating that if you buy 3 or more drinks by Starbucks you can save 0.15 on a gasoline purchase. I was also purchasing gasoline plus the Starbucks double shot energy drinks so I asked the cashier who didn't know what I was talking about. So the other cashier explained that it should ring up. I had a visa gift card with $12 left on it. I wanted to use the rest of my gift card and purchase the remainder of my amount on my debit card. The cashier then said it was not possible to do this. But after paying separately in two transactions my code for my percentage off printed on my receipt. It was then too late because I had been told the opposite and that it wouldn't work.
