Hand and Stone

I have been here before and had really good massages, and pretty good massages. This particular therapist was very knowledgeable about the muscular system, however, she treated the massage more like a physical therapy/education session. At one point, she even had me provide resistance and work with her on stretching muscles. I understand that this may have been helpful, however I really wanted a relaxing massage, not to be an active participant. Also, she kept talking, explaining why she was doing what she was doing, asking me if I could feel the difference between the area she worked on versus what she didn’t, etc. I did not leave feeling relaxed and de-stressed, so I sort of felt like it was a waste of time and money. She did seem to care and wanted to help me, so I didn’t feel comfortable telling her to stop, but if I wanted PT, I would’ve went to PT. Also, before we started, she forgot to put water in the stone heater, and burnt the towel, so the room smelled like burnt towel at the start. It went away quickly, but it wasn’t a great start.

I reserve highly satisfied for an amazing experience. I throughly enjoyed my massage.

Christine always creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere

When I booked my appointment I was assured by the receptionist and the manager that my gift card covered my cost. After a lovely facial, I was told I owed additional money for the facial. Instead of feeling relaxed, I left tense .

Didn't really feel relaxed with the massage therapist. Felt like I was being yelled at to relax. The therapist was knowledgeable and applied pressure, but not very friendly.

Overall satisfied.

Other locations are much more spa like and appealing both visually and fragrantly with better tables and amenities. If I didn’t love the therapist, I would absolutely go back to the other location I have been frequenting. She’s the only reason I’ll go back.

I must have hit the wrong circle. I was satified with the hand and stone experience.

The text at 7am on day of appointment to remind me was unnecessary. I was planning on sleeping to at least 8am on my day off.

The esthetician talked the entire appointment. I felt like I couldn’t relax.
