Hand and Stone

It was my first massage ever. I have no experience to compare to or other facility to contrast with. The store was crowded with sales items and prices are steep.

I booked a 3:00 appointment time for a 1.5 hour massage. Received a phone call asking me to move to 11:00 because someone else booked the 3:00 apt time while I was on the phone booking the apt. Confirmed the 11:00 was available for 1.5 hour massage. Went to location for 11:00 apt and the massage therapist said she had be down for 25 mins. Complained to front desk. They said nothing they could do. They didn't have any other times available. Sorry about the confusion. Asked to speak to the manager, Taylor, who was working out of Lacey location and asked me to go there (drive another 20 minutes on top of the 25 minutes it already took me) and have the 1.5 massage done there. I went. She gave the 30 mins to me for my troubles but not really worth the amount of effort. I was more stressed just making the appointment and being told I went to the first place for nothing and then having to drive a total of 45 mins one way to get there. THERE IS NO WAY TWO PEOPLE THAT ARE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER SHOULD BE ABLE TO BOOK THE SAME APT TIME. I was obviously on the phone with a new person and she was asking for guidance every step of the way. Not a happy customer.

The only reason I was not highly satisfied was there are other facials that I have had at H&S that were better.

Not this past time, but the time before I did not get a full 50 minute massage. It was only about 40 minutes. I was very disappointed

Angie was an amazing massage therapist. She was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. One of the best massages I have ever had. My only complaint, which I know isn’t Angies fault because I'm sure she had to set up the hot stones but I didn’t get in the room till after 9:10 and then get undressed. I didn’t look at the exact time she started because I was face down and I know she’s on a time schedule but it ended 9:52. So I defiantly got gypped out of a good 10 minutes. Every minute was amazing with her so that was my only disappointment.

She did nothing wrong. She was friendly and professional. I felt her technique lacked attention to detail. The pressure was firm as requested, buy felt she didn't didn't dig in, more like going through motions. I used to go to a MT in Tom's River and was looking for someone with maybe more years or experience. I think she may be developing her skill. She wasn't bad, but she's nothing, I pay to go to again in the bear future. I like to find my to go to MY at this location if you have suggestions. If not, I'll go back to Galina in Tom's River.

I was expecting a more solid deep therapy massage

I enjoyed my visit very much , wish it was more economical for me to visit more often.

The massage was good but not amazing.

I had a good experience, but I find in general when you tell a massage therapist that you want them to concentrate on your lower back, they tend to just give a massage all over and not really concentrate on the lower back. But the massage therapist was good and she was friendly and was good at her work.
