Hand and Stone

The new therapist was quick to refer me to 2 other therapists when I was just out the massage room, which honestly, didn't set well with me. She said it was because she books out quickly and she was making recommendations about other people that could give me massages, but they manner in which she made the "referral" just didn't sit well with me and seemed in appropriate. Additionally, at the start of the massage I told her I prefer longer strokes, not short abrupt massage strokes....and my simple request didn't seem to sit well with her... even though she did as I asked and/or the massage itself was fine. It was my first time with her and she asked what I liked, so I told her, but then she had an attitude about it "Well, I'll see what I can do, if you don't like it you can use someone else the next time".... ..... don't need attitude...just needed relaxation.

I had to go to a secondary location due to scheduling issues at the primary location; the therapist's english was hard to understand and it was hard to communicate with her.

Rachel was my therapist and it was my first time with her. She didn't use the massage techniques that I am use to with my other therapist i have used in the past. I don't feel that my stress areas were relieved as much as I would have liked. She was very friendly and asked about my areas of focus. Overall it wasn't terrible but not the exceptional massage I am use to with other therapist.

Rushed to be at appointment ten minutes prior to appointment even though there was traffic due to a wreck. Then waited past appointment time. There was no need for me to be there on time much less ten minutes early.

Treatment value is not worth the price. However, staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.

The room was very small and the bed did not have a place for my arms so it was odd. The bed was not adjusted for face which at other places they do. The masseuse did a lot of movement that was abrupt going between the stones. Not really her fault as much as maybe just the configuration. I will probably not do another stone as there was a lot of walking back and forth.

I always enjoy my massages at this location, and I’ve seen a variety of therapists. They all do very well. I think nearly every appointment so far has not started on time, even though I’m there early. I also would appreciate a thicker blanket covering. The material is very thin and it makes me feel uncomfortable while laying on my back. Overall, I’ve been satisfied with my visits and often give gift cards as gifts.

I always feel the cost is a bit high, but specifically the cost of add ons are ridiculously expensive. I will probably continue membership until I find a better value.

There was a buzzing sound in the massage room. After our massage the therapist offered a bottle of water but there was non available. Next time I will more Specific with the therapist on the target areas I wish to be worked didn’t work much of my shoulder blades
