I expected a more skillful therapist

It was my fault, I forgot the appt. and then rushed to get there. I was late but I went ahead anyway because I didn’t want to put the therapist out her $$$. I have been a regular customer and usually add at least hot stones. In addition I added my daughter to the package. The therapist was awesome in every way- no complaints, went over and beyond. She advised me to ask front office to give back 30 minutes to me since I was late. I was so impressed. However the front office told me I would have to pay out of pocket or use a full session. Why couldn’t they attach 30 mins to my next session at no charge? I don’t want to get anyone in trouble. However as a family you have 4 clients - myself, my mom, my sister and my daughter. We are all ready to cancel and move on.

I don’t know why but the receptionists have been telling me that my appointments are at the 15 minute mark and not on the hour. That’s happened twice where I’m told the appointment is at 10:15a or 8:15p, for example, and each time my appointment was on the hour. It’s just confusing and I don’t want to be penalized because I’ve been given incorrect information. I totally understand mistakes but quoting incorrect times for appointments just isn’t helpful on either side.

I was highly satisfied with the massage therapy I received. I can truly say when I left I felt relaxed and alot of neck and shoulder pain I have been experiencing is relieved and I feel alot better.

All the different estheticans I've had all do different things. There is no consistency. Some give neck rubs, some don't. One lady gave me leg pillow, the other ones didn't. One gave me eye patches and some mist on my face, the other ones didn't. For the $40 upgrade I feel they rush and I don't get my money worth. All the estheticans need to go back to training. They do not know what products are good for those who have skin issues and or pregnant. Some estheticans use the steam machine, the other girl said they were broken. Some estheticans extract pimples some don't. Very inconsistent!

Receptionist and other massage therapists were loud enough to hear during my massage over the ambient music. receptionist ran my gift card without giving me my total at all as well as not giving me the option to tip with my gift card, so i had to use my debit card. Michael was wonderful but the other staff just seemed unhappy to be there.

It was a great experience for my first time , my esthetician was very sweet and personable. I just expected more I guess. I’m interested in dermaplanning and little add ins that you all don’t offer so that may be a concern but it was relaxing and overall I enjoyed , I just wanted more and am willing to pay for more. I like noticeable results.

I feel like the estheticians at hand and stone are inconsistent. They’re always very friendly but depending on who I get I feel like my appointment is less luxurious/relaxing.
