My therapist was great and I would recommend him anytime for specifics, it's just that as an active person I need all my major muscle groups massaged including gluteal, pectorals major/minor and abdominals. The therapist explained that Hand & Stone has it's own policies about which muscle groups are offered therapy. When I leave the session my body feels unfinished. Thank you for this survey.

I had requested an appointment on your website, and never got a call back or an email or text message. I finally gave up 3 days later and called to make an appointment. Not a good first experience dealing the company. The appt itself was excellent. My irritation came with on line booking and then by the 2 receptionists trying to figure out the cost of my services. I had booked an 80 min deep tissue with an addition of $15 peppermint scalp treatment, I also added on aroma therapy oil for massage at time of paperwork. I assumed no big deal. Upon check out it took 2 of them to figure price and told me I could only use 1 gift card. I had 2 cards and they were almost equal to services. I paid an additional $10.70 which was ok, but it should not have been rocket science to figure out.

My only concern was the cleanliness of the rest room. Normally I do not notice, but the floor clearly needed to be mopped. It was a very attractive room, just needed the fine touch of cleanliness.

The waiting room was crowded The receptionist did not appear to know office policy The informationI was given is inaccurate as reported today by my previous Hand and Stone in Va. specifically I was told my points did not transfer and they were not sure about services but thought they would transfer. I did not find front reception staff knowledgeable or friendly

I wanted a facial and back facial, but it was too costly for me. I could only afford the facial. If a customer ask for 2 treatments why can't she get a good discount?

The website needs alot of work- could not book online with my gift card and never heard back when I requested more information about Mother's Day specials. Receptionist would not tell me service enhancement prices over the phone, she said I would talk about it when I came in. The receptionist area is very busy- products for sale all over, weird Christmas decorations with no mention of why (if it's a sale, make it obvious. It looked very tacky), and the receptionists were not relaxed. They were trying too hard- their voices were extremely high pitched, the smiles were plastered on their faces and not genuine, and they did not seem to be comfortable with their level of customer contact. It in turn made me uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to get out after paying. I will not return because while my facial felt great, the return visit price is astronomical for the service offered. I cannot commit to a monthly massage/facial so the membership is not applicable. I will gladly visit a local salon that offers facials at your introductory rate every visit instead of returning at your non-introductory price.
